X-Reply Guy
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of X-Reply Guy (“we”, “us”, “our”), a Chrome browser extension and related services operated by the sole proprietor behind the X-Reply Guy brand (“Operator”). By installing or using X-Reply Guy, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
X-Reply Guy helps you draft replies on X (Twitter) using AI providers that you configure with your own API keys. The extension is provided on a freemium basis: a free tier with daily limits and an optional paid Pro tier with additional features.
X-Reply Guy is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. or any AI provider.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the service.
- You are responsible for complying with X’s terms of service and the terms of any AI provider you connect.
- You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure on your device.
3. Free tier
The free tier includes up to 50 successful AI generations per UTC day. Limits, features, and availability may change; we will not materially reduce core free functionality without notice on this site.
4. Pro license (paid)
- Product: X-Reply Guy Pro — a one-time, lifetime software license unlocking Pro features in the extension.
- Price: As shown on our pricing page and at Paddle checkout at the time of purchase.
- Payment: Payments are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction.
- Activation: Pro is linked to the email you provide at checkout. You may activate Pro on multiple devices you own, subject to reasonable use.
- License scope: Pro grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Pro features. You may not resell, sublicense, or share your license with others.
- Refunds: See our Refund Policy. Refunded purchases revoke Pro access.
5. Bring your own key (BYOK)
AI generation costs are billed by your chosen provider directly to you. We do not provide AI inference, API credits, or guaranteed availability of third-party AI services. You are solely responsible for API fees, rate limits, and compliance with provider terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the extension to spam, harass, impersonate others, or violate applicable laws.
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, license checks, or security measures.
- Reverse engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit the extension except as expressly permitted.
- Use the service in ways that could harm us, Paddle, or other users.
We may suspend or revoke access (including Pro licenses) for violations of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
X-Reply Guy, its branding, code, and documentation are owned by the Operator. Your content (tweets you reply to, generated drafts, local settings) remains yours. You grant us no rights to your content beyond what is needed to operate the extension locally on your device.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated replies may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or non-compliant with platform rules. You are solely responsible for reviewing and posting any reply. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or compatibility with future changes to X or AI providers.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of X-Reply Guy. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you use only the free tier.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
